Hello and welcome!

I’m Tonia, and I’m super excited that you stopped by.

Let me ask, does this sound like you?

  • You’re trying to find work/life balance in order to live your dream life.
  • You want to build a business for yourself rather than someone else.
  • You want to thrive and succeed on your own terms, in business, and in life.

If yes, then you are in the right place, my friend.

My mission is to empower solo-entrepreneurs (like you) to achieve business success through effective planning, productivity, and content creation.

A little about me & my background

I spent 25+ years working in the financial services industry. During that time, I worked in Human Resources, Training, Marketing, and culminated by leading a team of almost 100 front-line salespeople. I know how business works and what it takes to grow and manage a successful business.

I’ve been blogging on the side since 2007. ToniaKendrick.com is my second blog, but the first that’s also a business. And I recently started a third site – just call me a glutton for punishment. 🙂

Throughout the years, I’ve been actively involved in community and non-profit organizations, bringing together my professional and personal passions and skills. Like chairing the marketing committees for a statewide trade organization and a national non-profit. And lending my leadership and business strategy experience to a variety of non-profit boards, both large and small.

Nowadays, I spend most of my time writing or planning or strategizing (by the pool when the weather cooperates).

On a personal level, I want to live in a world where every day is summer. And I think coffee is a gift from the gods.

When I’m not working, you can find me looking for dead people, binging on Netflix, or reading anything I can get my hands on from books to blogs to cereal boxes.

My favorite TV show of all time is Buffy the Vampire Slayer, followed by anything else in the Joss Whedon ouevre.

Favorite books?  I would rather read than breathe, so it’s a long, long list.

But that’s enough about me. . .
