Are you struggling to create content for Pinterest?

If you’re a long-time Pinterest user like me, you may have lost your enthusiasm for constantly feeding the Pinterest machine.

Or, if you’re a Pinterest newbie, you may not be sure exactly how to use the platform. As you’ve probably noticed, it’s not like other social media platforms. (Hint: that’s because it’s not social media. Pinterest is a search engine.)

In either case, I think you’ll be excited to try out Tailwind Ghostwriter. It could just be the solution you’ve been looking for.

What Is Tailwind?

Tailwind is a marketing tool that works with Pinterest, Instagram, and Facebook. Originally just a scheduling tool, Tailwind is now a multi-network solution with many more abilities, including content creation.

What Is Tailwind Ghostwriter?

Ghostwriter is the newest feature, and it is awesome!

It’s an artificial intelligence (AI) copywriting tool that’s built right into Tailwind. You can use it to create captions for social media posts, blog post outlines, video scripts, email subject lines, and so much more. This screenshot shows some of the options.

However, I mostly use it for Pinterest, so that’s what I’m going to share in this post. It really has been a game-changer for me.

Creating Multiple Pinterest Titles

It’s no secret that Pinterest wants fresh content. That means creating a  LOT of pins, and that’s where Tailwind Ghostwriter comes in.

I typically create 20-30 new pins a month. So that would be 5 pins each for 4-to-6 blog posts.

And I’ll be honest, I used to re-use the title for all the pins for a particular article because I just didn’t have the mental bandwidth to come up with that many titles.

Instead of creating new Pinterest titles on my own, I can use Ghostwriter to generate multiple versions. I simply give it a little information about my post, then click the Generate Title button.

Voila! It will instantly create variations that are optimized for Pinterest.

Here’s an example for a post I published recently.

To keep it simple, I just typed in the blog post title (7 Opt-In Freebie Mistakes Plus Tips on How To Avoid Them) and selected “Informational content.”

And Ghostwriter came up with three titles for me:

  • 7 Opt-In Freebie Mistakes That Could Be Costing Your Business – Here’s How to Avoid Them
  • 7 Opt-In Freebie Mistakes You’re Making & How to Avoid Them
  • 7 Mistakes to Avoid When Creating Opt-In Freebies + Tips on How to Prevent Them!

If I wanted more, I could click Generate Title again, and it would give me more options.

And, in fact, I would like two more. So I clicked the button and this is what it came up with next:

  • 7 Mistakes to Avoid When Setting Up Your Opt-In Freebie – Get the Tips to Maximize Your Results!
  • 7 Opt-In Freebie Mistakes You Should Avoid – Plus Tips on How to Fix Them!

I’m good with all these. Now, I can create five new pin images – each with a unique title – that all send traffic to the same blog post.

Writing Pinterest Descriptions

The Pin Title feature is cool, right?

But the pin description writer is really where Ghostwriter shines.

But before I show you how it works, I want to back up for a minute.

I’ve tried other AI tools for writing Pinterest descriptions and, frankly, was not impressed. The other tools don’t really “get” what Pinterest is. They think it’s social media. And remember, earlier, I said that Pinterest is a search engine.

Tailwind understands this. They’ve been working with Pinterest and Pinterest content creators for years. They know that a good Pinterest description is all about the keywords.

And that knowledge is built into Ghostwriter.

So, with that said, let’s take this for a spin.

The Pin Description generator has the same input fields as the Pin Title generator.

There’s a place to enter the type of content, a little info about the content, and optionally add keywords and calls to action.

So, using the same blog post as an example, I selected “Informational content” and pasted in the post title. Then I added the keyword “lead magnet” and a call-to-action “click through to read the post.”  Then I clicked the Generate Description button.

Ghostwriter came up with 3 keyword-rich Pin descriptions in just a few seconds. And they are awesome.

Sometimes I find that I need to make a few quick edits to the descriptions, but most of the time, they are good to go.

There is no way I could have written these so fast myself. And now I don’t have to.

How To Get Access to Ghostwriter
